In the meantime, I carefully put each one in a knife sheath and slightly scalded it in hot water.

I tried using ginger, and it peeled almost 95% of the skin. However, you can't put in too much, and the pieces can't be too large, so you have to cut them into small pieces. Still, the process is very easy, and garlic is even easier to handle!

Very good product, I already have one and liked it. I bought this one for my sister. I set it up to test and it's working perfectly fine. I was just upset because the acrylic cup came all scratched up; it looks like it was used. If I had seen it before, I wouldn't have confirmed the delivery.
